GrapheneOS Performance on Pixel 9 Pro/Pro XL

Hello there,

I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with GOS on the Pixel 9 Pro/ 9 Pro XL in terms of battery life and performance. The background is that my Pixel 6 Pro with GOS runs comparatively sluggishly and slowly in terms of app launches and updates compared to stock Android.
What is the situation with the Pixel 9 Pro? I would be grateful for some feedback.

Hawk_Tuah I upgrade from a Pixel 6 to a Pixel 9 Pro XL. Very happy with it. Battery life is very good and lasts all day, easily, even when I'm using my phone a lot.

I daily drive GrapheneOS on a Pixel 9 Pro XL and things run perfectly fine.

ErnestThornhill Thanks for your reply. Do you have any comparision to older Pixel devices? Is there any improvement in terms of performance?

Hawk_Tuah The 9 Pro and Pro XL come equipped with a Tensor G4 and 16GB of RAM compared to the Tensor G3 and 12GB of RAM in the 8 Pro. They're (obviously) a lot faster than older Pixel devices. In terms of battery life, I'm an app minimalist and, so, I can easily get a few days out of a full charge. I'm by no means a hardware guru so I'm sure someone else could provide a more in depth and technical response.

other8026 Sounds nice, from my 3 years old device I get only 3,5 hours of screen on time, which is not that much at all

ErnestThornhill the thing is that the g3 and g4 are basically equal, 16GB RAM vs 12GB RAM is simply more, not faster. And google is still using ufs 3.1 flash storage instead of ufs 4.0..
