Fingerprint KO after screen replacement and google procedure KO

Hi all,
I encounter an strange issue with the fingerprint which is not anymore visible as an option in "parameters". to be clear, the option fingerprint doesnt appear anymore... ? any idea ?

I precise that i replaced the screen myself and i'm an it professionnal and replace screen everyday.
Then mechanicaly, the screen is good and from an official source, then it seems ok.

i think more about a software issue.

GraphenGhost I believe once a Pixel screen is replaced it is necessary to run a Google utility to recalibrate the fingerprint sensor. I have a faint memory that it is necessary to run the calibration tool twice. I believe a careful search of this forum will turn up details.

Thann you for help, unfortunatly i tested to renew recalibration opération more than 10 times...

I will try to but another pixel, 8 maybe, i think that i need to reinstall completly m'y pixel to retreive the usage of peint finger sensor.

GraphenGhost yes you need to run the calibration tool. I believe it says to keep the factory film on the screen till its done . Took a few times for me .
Did you use a genuine Google screen ?

Skyway yes, i buyed it complete from a serious reseller.
Clueless yes i'm using chrome.

I have swiched to another phone for now and i'm trying a factory reset, but for now nothing work..
lets try with another screen.. in case but i think it is a bug from graphene os wich block new finger print module after instalation....

I believe it can also be the browser that's interfering. For example the flatpak version of brave doesn't work (well) with these webinstallers. Or at least that was the case when I last checked. Have you tried Chrome?
