Can't connect bluetooth device to Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go is known to be problematic, but I'm just trying to narrow down the issue. Wondering about anything that may have been updated.

are you using your owner profile or another secondary user profile?

I've had problems connecting my headphones a few times. I've found it's easier to do it first in the owner profile first.

Also, I read Niantic disabled catchers briefly. I don't know if they're working now or not.

Was annoying me for a good while, you'd think they'd put in the in-game news in the app. But yeah, Niantic.
