Kshsgegjkdk Hello, I read that vanadium has added content filtering using easylist and easyprivacy. I could not find it in settings and did some search in this forum, but still could not find how to enable it. How do you enable ad blocking in vanadium?
Xtreix Kshsgegjkdk Ads blocking is enabled by default and there is no setting because this would surely hinder Vanadium's efforts to mitigate fingerprinting. The blocking list is fairly small, but it is planned to extend it in the future.
N1b Adding to the previous post: There's a shortcut to disable ad blocking in case a website refuses to work. Simply tap on the settings button on the left of the domain and tap "Permissions". The full list of permissions is in Settings -> Site Settings where Ad blocking can also be found.
Conjure6589 You can also use DNS blocking to add more lists if you prefer. Something like NextDNS or a VPNs ad blocker.
jackFang Yes Vanadium as of now offers ad blocking to an extent, you can verify through ad block test websites. Not as extensive as ublock origin but out of the box it is nice. I have vanadium running with router-level adguard for extra ad blocking. Then about 3/4 of ads are blocked
