Blackscreen after update ( Sim Pin skipped )

hello, i have a black screen once a month after a system update. i assume this is because the sim pin entry is skipped after the update? yesterday after the update 04.09 i was only asked to enter the password after the update restart.

After another reboot Sim Pin
and password came up as usual. Is this a known bug?

pampur Ok, I think it may be time to file an issue on the GrapheneOS issue tracker. Please include a detailed step-by-step sequence for reproducing, probably as a numbered list, probably with the first step being something like "Set a SIM PIN". Be sure to say whether your report is about a physical SIM or an eSIM; provide device model number and GrapheneOS release level (easily available in the new Info app), say which carrier if you are willing. It would be great if you could include a short video.

I still think it may be time to file an issue... but it would be best to avoid two or three of them -- it would be much better for one person to go first and then a couple more people to add "I have this problem too" posts, especially on different device types.

Is there a volunteer to go first?

other8026 it happened for me just once, after latest update and reboot. my phone is switched off every night and switched on next morning
