GrapheneOS with Pixel Watch still private?

I am a long GrapheneOS user and i really love the security and privacy you gain with it. Some things like Google Pay annoy me because its not working and Google Pay is more secure than paying with card.
Thats the reason why i wanted to buy me a pixel watch. These watches uses the stock rom and currently you can't change that and if it would be possible to change that google would block payments again because of the SafetyNet.

My question is now: Is a Pixel Watch (1/2/3...) degrading the privacy/security on my GrapheneOS phone.

Does it make GrapheneOS useless in some parts like Sandboxing Google Play, because the watch gets some data the sandboxed Google Play Services wouldn't get? Or does GrapehenOS blocks some telemetry because of the sandboxed Play Services.
Is it less private to use a Pixel Watch with GrapheneOS than trusting Apple with their ecosystem (iPhone and Watch)? Im not a criminal neither living in a political critical country (current, maybe not forever).

With Google Pay or Apple Pay your data is uploaded to their server. Even if this data is encrypted, it a possible attack vector. So it will never be more secure than a simple plastic card. And why are you willing to tell Google or Apple what you are paying and how much you paid for it? Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Your linked article seems sponsored by Goggle or/and Apple.

You want to buy a watch only for payment!? DON'T DO IT!

The most secure & private method is: CASH!
Do as much as you can with cash. Don't buy where you can't pay cash. And tell them so.

If you want to use such services just use NFC on your phone!
Doesn't open new attack vectors, Bluetooth can be kept off...

Secure VS Privacy it might be slightly more secure in theory but it just puts more data about you into the world
