Guide on how to anonymously use any network provider using disposable eSIMs.

Disclaimer: This tutorial will include some stuff you have to buy, but there
are multiple vendors and I don't promote/affiliate any of them. DYOR.

First of all, there is a common misconception that eSIMs are only virtual.
Without going deep in the tech behind it, this is the best thing we got for
privacy in terms of mobile networks. You can get an eSIM from any country,
with crypto (read later) or just a PAYG plan.

First I would like to cover 2 solutions:

Both of them will provide you a physical SIM, that you can use your eSIM
plan that you "anonymously" got from any provider, just with the small app
on your phone, or a SIM device on your PC. That is beyond the scope of this,
but there are many other companies as well who provide similar solutions.
TLDR : eSIM = physical SIM in your device, any device, which you can reprogram
anywhere.

So after you got that reprogrammable SIM, all you have to do is to get your eSIM
plan as much anonymously as possible. There are some solutions like silent.link,
but they are expensive and generally they suck, because they cater for those tinfoil
hat people. We need something plain and simple:

1) Airalo
2) Knowroaming
3) Yesim
4) Getnomad
5) https://esimdb.com - let's focus on that
6) Bitrefill

5a. You will have to get a prepaid card, link a Paypal to it and use the cheapest plan.
Works in most countries.

6a. Bitrefill are a little expensive, but allows you to top up with crypto without KYC.

The general steps are:
Get a device that allows you to change IMEI. beyond the scope of this tutorial, but MudiV2 or similar,
or an Oukitel device that allows you to change IMEI with ##8688##.
Get the physical SIM from one of the vendors above, and get an eSIM plan using a throwaway
prepaid card, paypal, again this is beyond the scope.
Burn the eSIM profile on your device with a floating IMEI, let's say a monthly plan.
After this plan expires, change the IMEI on the main device, get a new eSIM, make sure
to have a virtual EID (on your SIM) and random ICCID. You now have a new identity.
9esim will show you how to randomize those values.

Silent.link are just reselling you what I described above with 10x margin.
With the right research, you can get around 20GB for 10$ in normal countries, well less than whatever
"anonymous provider" will charge you. Rinse and repeat.

This is draft v0.1 of the tutorial, I use that since Covid cell tracking was implemented in many countries,
and until now this is the most bulletproof solution you can have.
The compatibility with GOS is 100%, but you will have the same IMEI then, which defeats the cross carrier
tracking purpose. But if you don't care about that, and just want to use a mobile carrier without providing
personal details, this is a great solution.

Would you be able to pair one of these with a silent.link esim, use it till it runs out, then purchase another esim from silent.link to replace the one that ran out? However, doing it this way would require you to pay the $10 cost for the DATA.PLUS plan each time when switching out the esim. Rather than just topping up with only the data cost.

This strategy would be paired with Blue-Merle on a GliNet travel router to always be changing the IMEI. That way each esim change produces a new IMSI and IMEI together. And to take advantage of the IMEI changer in Blue-Merle wouldn't you have to use the esim (actually a physical sim in the router), but using one of the two solutions above would make use of silent.link's esim -- vs having the sim/esim in the phone?

The plans you have list from "1 through 6" all have plans where the data expires at a set amount of time. If I am looking for something that let's me use the data as I would like without worrying it will expire if unused, I believe the options I have are silent.link and jmp.chat (silent.link is the cheaper one for data out of the two.).

This post is me just thinking out loud and seeing what others opinions are on this.

They cater for people who can't get crypto or an anonymous paypal / debit card on their own,
which is understandable, but in this community we know a thing or two about throwaway stuff.

Totally, but the idea here is that you won't have to rely on those snake-oil resellers like Silent link.
Their business model is to buy an eSIM from Airalo, and resell to you with crypto with 5x margin.

I was wondering regarding the statement that we in this community know some things about throwaway stuff.. Could you maybe elaborate a little on how to get a prepaid CC plus a Paypal linked? I know one website where one can buy prepaid Visa-cards but they charge like 150USD for a 100USD Visa card, few years ago I know in europe at leaste one could get prepaid CC's with zero to very limited KYC but I think most of this has already disappeared or they increased their KYC

And especially for the paypal part, how could I set up a anonymous paypal acc, as far as I know they have KYC with VideoIdent etc?

The issue I run into is the other providers have an expiration date on when you buy the data vs silent.link that let's you keep the data until it is used.

I don't understand how you are getting that Silent.Link is 5x or 10x margins. I also don't see where you get $5 /GB.

The data rates for the 6 you provided are usually a premium price since you are able to use them around the world. And they are more expensive than some plans in the US with the only benefit being you can use them around the world. I don't quite see the draw to these other than that. And in some countries getting a local sim might be cheaper than these.

Silent.Link still looks cheaper with the benefit of the data not expiring. You can use monero. Where I see Silent.Link getting expensive is if you need to rotate out old sims. You might have to pay the $9.99 one off price and the $5 initial, depending on how often you rotate. If I am missing something please let me know.

Does getting an ESIM and reprogramming it make it seem like a new device to cell towers?

There are multiple identifiers associated with a cellular modem. (IMSI, IMEI, etc).

Does this offer more anonymity than just using the default ESIM option in the phone?

My guess is your method will look like:

Phone 1 ESIM 1 (tower prints)
Phone 1 ESIM 2 (tower pings)
phone 1 ESIM 3 (tower pings)
with reprogrammed ESIM info on the card (that may have other identifiers on the ESIM) and you'll stand out more by doing this

Paying for an eSIM in crypto is somewhat unusual behavior, so you're going to be standing out.

So you're anonymous but not stealthy

Whatever pings to a cell tower are done will still all be associated with this 1 same phone according to this method. Is this not right?

I had a friend who was learning about IMEI changing and as they were learning someone started taking long-distance photos of them (had photo equipment in their direction, was under surveillance). IMEI programming/changing sets off all sorts of "look at me" alarms especially if something doesn't match on a cell tower after with an expected value.

This post suggests that programmable physical esim cards can't be reused anonymously. They will still communicate unchangeable unique information, even if the card advertises an EID spoofing feature. If that's the case re-programmable physical esims can't be used for multiple discrete identities.
