Citi Bank Mobile App not working on GOS

With the 8/30 update of the Citi Bank Mobile APp... (V 9.76.1) - I get this error message:

"Citi Mobile app detected issues on your mobile device and cannot be opened at this time".

I've tried changing the app settings (e.g."exploit protection, hardened memory allocater, native code debugging), nothing seems to work.

Wanted to revert to an earlier version - but I can't find any old(er) APKs anywhere... and Play Store isn't giving me an option to revert.

I updated GOS today and the CITI mobile app appears to be working now.

Was there anything in the update that would have resolved this - or perhaps something on Citi's end?

lcalamar can you assess their website? I used website access, and it stopped working for my gos p8 same time that the update you're blaming came out.

moondiamond do you find any benefits over accessing via website? Can you access thru site?
I installed it only once, long time ago and without opening even once erased it. It occupied somewhere near shocking .6 gb was on p5. Used website to access and manage, never had an issue, before around the same the period mentioned by OP, Aug-Sep. I'm not tying app and website problems, but it is an interesting coincidence plus their support is suggesting me to try the app, they confirmed my online access is clear on their end no system blocks due to suspicious ips, vpns. But they were kind of intrusively asked what browser am I using to access, I ssid Google Crome. Which is I assumed is widely approved and suppprted, suprisingly they advised to try Edge. Not sire if they saw something irregular as my user agent, but everywhere I check my Vanadium is recognized as Google Crime, this also pulls a question how are the chances they have more/advanced
identified keying tools in I'm their arsenal and if so, how is Vanadium mitigate such if it does?

Eirikr70 it has always been enabled.

The app used to work,have not ch6any settings but wonder if they are doing any addl checks in their latest update?

The Australian Citibank app hasn't worked for months as it requires passing play integrity

I have the exact same problem this morning. DCL via memory and exploit protection compatability. Has worked for well over a year now, no issues. Tried enabling/disabling all the play store and services to no avail. Very frustrating that banking apps can be so finnicky on graphene since I need them for the day to day.

Looks like it might be a pixel wide issue. There are other threads on reddit complaining about this not working, not just with graphene.

Cleared data in the app and was able to login just a few moments ago.

Still not working for me. Tried going back a version but that fails also.. No message but hangs on logo. This feels like some initial security check gone wrong.

I just use the web ui now and that is probably better anyway.

lcalamar are there any App specific features that you need anyway that you can't get on the browser? The only one that really comes to mind for me is mobile check deposit. Still, my advice would be to get another checking account, not just because of app compatibility, but because you can do so much better than Citi as far as checking account features and fees go lol.

If it's for notifications, you should be able to get alerts sent as an email or text message.

No - this is only for my VISA credit card... and used for Costco...

I don't use CITI for anything other than that.

And yes - I do tend to get rid of apps and use the browser - just better from a privacy and security standpoint anyway (Apps only exist to steal our data!)... but yes - for my active checking accounts - the check deposit is the only feature I really use... )

I use a different browser "IceRaven" - I use it as I can 'spoof' the browser to look however it needs to look... (I use the Chameleon extension). I use IceRaven mostly because I can add some of my favorite extensions - so while I use Vanadium I use IceRaven as my daily driver.

I have no issues signing on to Citi with it.

And yes - Citi in general is VERY challenging... anytime they have an app this large - they just aren't up to any good...

lcalamar no luck with iceraven. i cant even run it , upon start it reuests to be set as default browser and no matter if allowed ot not it stops right after. Downloaded from github.
