How to block individual phone number?

I found out my problem. I can only block a number in my owner profile. But I am using another profile for my everyday life, in which I can't block a number…
So I will have to install a dedicated app for blocking.

Arnauld I have the same problem, for whatever reason I can't block a phone number with Graphene on a Pixel 8. There is no such option under Recent calls, even when pressing and holding the individual number. I can't find any other way to block a number and it's pretty frustrating. If this is something only available in the Owner profile this could prove to be yet another fixable frustration with this OS.

Anyhow, back on-topic, I landed here as I'm looking for a way to hide my Caller ID.

For anyone else struggling with @Arnauld's issue, I believe I have it resolved.

I too use a separate account for my day to day. When I get a number that I want to block, I just make a quick note of the last three digits, change over to Owner, check I have the correct number, Block it, and jump back to my regular account.

Admittedly it's a couple of steps, but if like me you don't get that many calls you need to block, it's done in a couple of seconds.

So far it has worked fine for me, i.e. blocking that number in my regular account. sorry I don't have dual SIM

Spes Unfortunatley this is not working for me. Blocked numbers in the owner profile are not blocked in other profiles. Does anyone know of a way to block numbers (calls and/or SMS) in profiles other than Owner?

So the carrier you use determines whether or not you can block numbers in GrapheneOS? That's ridiculous. If I can get confirmation on this, I will be switching immediately.

I posted a related issue https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/26982-how-to-block-texts-stop-getting-notifications/6 where I cannot block audible notifications when I block numbers from the Messages app. I am not getting any responses on that issue.
