Lock airplane mode on behind a pin or lock or something

I don't plan to use a sim in the pixel phone so i want to know is there a way to lock the airplane on.
i don't want the phone to ever try to connect to a cell tower ever even when turning on . i know airplane does this but i want it locked on ,basically more then just pressing one button .

frozezone I think this is a good idea; ive also had the feeling of hoping airplane mode is still on when rebooting or whatever the case may be, and thought how easy it is to just, even accidentally, turn it off.

Anyone else think this is a good idea, or no?
