Gboard processes privacy concern (DataShareService)

Gboard installed without granting it Internet permission is still running processes (Developer options -> Running services) like "DataShareService" and other Google app (?) services. I don't know how do these processes work exactly, but I was wondering if there is privacy implication here if the Gboard could somehow share data with other apps via these processes to the Google app.

whiskeywalrus Yes, any app can share data with another app, if both apps mutually agree to it (regardless of Network permission). The functionality is called IPC (inter-process communication). There is a feature planned to allow the user to limit IPC in some way if I'm not mistaken.
