UI improvements

Fairly new to GrapheneOS, but wondering a few goals of the project. It is clear that security is the number 1 focus, but are UI improvements also in any way part of it?

For example, with LineageOS, I got the following features:

Long press square in lower right to quickly switch back to the previous app (like Alt+Tab on desktop)
Show the time with seconds
Left-Right buttons on onboard keyboard

LineageOS has many other tweaks too, but I don't use them all.

Does GrapheneOS have any goal or welcome any suggestions on UI improvements or are those types of topics out of scope for the project unless they improve security?

With gesture navigation you can quickly change between recent apps by swiping side to side on the bottom bar.

Keyboard apps can, and often do, add extra buttons.

There is lots of work planned for the GrapheneOS developers. The general policy is we dont have time to add and maintain "nice to have" UI features. Often there can be other ways to achieve similar or they can get added to AOSP.
