Hello,

Options which i change in dev options like:

1) Window / Transition animation scale
2) Show taps (show visual feedback for taps)

These options don't apply on other profiles.
A few topics here mention that dev options should apply system-wide.

Am I interpreting this wrong?

    atw i think some of them apply everywhere, others dont.

      Dev options are meant for developers to test things, not for generic use. Generally we advise against using them. We've had nasty bugs that only effected people who had altered things in dev options which were not at all obviously tied to the changed setting and stopped the user interacting with their operating system.

      Thanks for the replies, now I at least know i didn't interpret this wrong.
      Sad realization though.
