We are all here on GOS to avoid what Google does in collecting metadata. Having said that, if one needs to access Gmail from within the GOS environment, what is the best way to do that while reducing my exposure?

Ooops We are all here on GOS to avoid what Google does in collecting metadata.

Not exactly. Many people use GrapheneOS for different reasons. Some do so to "de-Google," but not all.

Ooops if one needs to access Gmail from within the GOS environment, what is the best way to do that while reducing my exposure?

If you're using the app, Google already has less access to personal data from your phone on GrapheneOS since Google apps are subject to the same restrictions as any other apps. But if you want to further reduce the amount of data they can collect, use as few of their apps as possible. You can also use a browser, but it looks like the UI/UX is not as good on the mobile site.

Ooops You can use a mail reader app. I use K-9 Mail for reading emails and the Gmail webpage for composing them.

    Thanks folks. I appreciate it.
