Bluetooth devices working only with outgoing calls

Hi, As the title says. It does not matter what type of BT audio device it is, if its headphones, car, speaker. With outgoing calls everything works flawless, I can switch between outputs on the fly.

But when receiving a call only earphone and speaker works and I am unable to switch it to any other device even though it is listed in the output options.

Any help appreciated.

panicone Yes I have one "master" and four "slaves" each for particular thing. One of the "slave" is daily driver

midacha So I've been dealing with this for months now and it seems to be hit or miss on the primary but the secondaries only allow calls out through Bluetooth devices. Also when it happens I can't switch to speaker either.

I did not try it myself, but maybe the work profile could not be affected by this bug.

guser39 I've had a few upstream bugs in the past that were resolved in updates, so I assumed this was as well. I often see people blame GOS devs when it isn't usually their fault. AOSP can be a bit of a mess sometimes. Anyways I'm less hopeful this is going to be resolved before the next major android version, as I've been dealing with this nearly since 14 was released.
