No mobile Data connectivity anymore

Hey folks, since a couple of days I over and over again have connectivity issue with basically all providers ... I tried o2, T-Mobile etc. None of them is able to work with GraphenOS on my Pixel 7 (non-Pro), I sometimes get edge connectivity, but that's it ... and then it's not even stable.

Can somebody please help me out on this, I already tried to enable and disable eSim support, reset the all Network related settings etc. etc., none of it appears to help.

The only thing I can definitely say is, that I don't have this issue with 4G only sim-cards, but as soon as I have a 5G capable card in the Phone it basically becomes unusable as it will never ever connect except of EDGE ...

v_o Does this happen independent of location, i.e., close to a 5G cell site? In some places 5G coverage may be thin.

Personally I have set my "preferred network type" to "LTE" because my experience is better that way.

Is this a new device? In theory a device's cellular modem might be marginal. If the device is under warranty, and you also have cellular issues under Google's OS, maybe a warranty replacement would help?

de0u funny I cannot change the "MNC" value of the APN settings, as soon as I do this, and save the profile, the APN setting will get lost ... WTF

I already tried to set it to 5G, LTE, LTE Only etc. I will still get stuck on EDGE ... Really, this phone is garbage now, at least with GraphenOS. As soon as possible, I will go back to Stock ROM.
To answer your question, no, this device is 1 year and 9 months in use now ...

If the phone has worked fine for a long time, using SIM cards from multiple carriers, and now works poorly, again on multiple carriers, it is possible that the cellular modem hardware has an issue. Flashing back to the stock OS, though obviously very disruptive, would be a useful debugging step, because if the problem persists with the stock OS then hardware would be the prime suspect.
