Calls with jmp chat on secondary profile

I'm asking this question over on the jmp chat forum as well, because I'm not sure whether it's a graphene problem or a jmp chat problem. Hoping between the two forums that someone can help me figure out my problem!

So I was previously running jmp chat through Cheogram on my "Owner" profile just fine. I recently switched Cheogram over to a secondary profile, though, and now I have a problem with calling (texts work fine). I can place and receive calls, but they never connect. (Tested on my partner's phone. I call her, she receives the call, but when she answers, Cheogram on my end just constantly displays "Connecting". When she calls me, I can see the call, click answer, but then I'm left constantly "Connecting.")

Anyone have any thoughts?

Weird update, Signal is doing the same thing. Can send and receive messages, but receiving and placing calls gets stuck on "connecting." Is there some wi-fi setting I'm missing?

I'm placing and receiving calls as usual on JMP on a Pixel 8 with latest GOS update with JMP rolling me onto TMo or ATT based on position as usual. 4-5 weeks ago I placed/received calls on Canadian networks ok.

I place and receive calls via the Fossify phone app (with it designated as the default phone app in Settings) and the usual Cheogram-to-phone-app bridge settings. I don't use Cheogram for calling, only messages. Reason = use of bluetooth earbuds from time to time for calls. Last I tried that on Cheogram there was no option for bluetooth.

Maybe you are not having a Pixel, GOS, JMP network issue but rather a Cheogram app issue? Glad you are also asking in the very helpful JMP XMPP group.
