Hi GrapheneOS community,

I recently bought a Pixel device , but I am hesitant about some compatibility with some apps like Uber ( including Uber Eats) , Mercado Libre, Mercado Pago, Whats App , and banking apps like Banamex Movil.

Tell me about your experience if you have used those apps in Graphene OS before start using it as my main OS in my pixel.

Have a nice day.

I can only report about whatsapp. I have Google Play Store + Google services installed on my Graphene-Phone and I am using Whatsapp with no problem.

As for Banking App Compatibility, I cannot comment as I use different banking apps than you.
You can check this website: https://privsec.dev/posts/android/banking-applications-compatibility-with-grapheneos/

All the other apps you mentioned I do not use so i cannot give any infos how they work or not work on Graphene.

What I know is most apps that are not using "google certified" should normally work on GrapheneOS.
Some Apps might require Play Services and some apps have bugs that makes them crash by Graphenes exploit protection, hardened memory allocator and MTE, but thats a good thing means those bugs can be reported to the app developer and GrapheneOS has a compatibility mode app toggle to get those apps running.

    Whatsapp works.

For banking apps, look at the website. If not there, add the info if it works to the github site

Carlos-Anso changed the title to Compatibility with some apps? .

    Aeon

Hi Aeon , I suppose that my banking apps should work since it's developed by Citibank , I hope so.

Another question That I would like to ask you is where do I check if an app is not using "google certified " ??

    • Aeon replied to this.
