kebab_definite . The devices are still in the preorder phase and the code gets published on the day they're actually launching rather than when preorders start. It's too early to know much about most security related changes since it's not something reviewers with early access would know how to look into and it's not part of what they cover.

23Sha-ger AI related features mostly work fine on GrapheneOS since they're just app features implemented via low-level APIs that are present.

Yes in theory the 3D model of the fingerprint is more secure than a 2D scan (optical),
but the attacker only has a few attempts before the lock method falls back to actual PIN/passphrase.

Try to use an unregistered fingerprint a few times and see the results.
Since the technology is new on Pixels I actually think it will be more buggy than optical at least for a while.

MTE was introduced on P8 series. That's something "new" in terms of security,
as I said before, nothing is "new" on the P9, except the AI stuff and cameras.
Definitely a "pass" release. All that AI fluff isn't going to be available on AOSP anyway.
Even that SoS junk, only free for the first 2 years and then you need a Google sub, lol.
