Disable VoLTE

I keep having dropped calls on my device, my carrier has a bit of an unusual setup since national roaming hasn't really been a topic in Norway. It uses a SIM app to switch between home and roaming network. Probably because a lot of people complained back when it was new that it didn't work until you enabled roaming in the settings.

Home network doesn't do 2G voice and when signal drops below a certain level it switches to the roaming network for voice. This never works so the call just drops.

VoLTE works on the home network, no indicator or provisioning status in the INFO menu or anything.

Is there a way to disable it?

I can disable it here for my SIM card:
Settings -> Network&Internet -> SIM-Card -> VoLTE

Not sure if it would work with every carrier

It doesn't, the option just isn't appearing no matter what I try. Thanks for the suggestion anyways!

wolf I'd suggested contacting the carrier if yours doesn't provide an OS based toggle.

What you may find is that many carriers are moving to switch off their 3G networks and if that is the case you may find yourself running into a dead end.

Also changed the tag to Off-Topic as this isn't an OS specific issue but a carrier one.
