What do you use to download and store music?

I want to download all of my songs on Spotify to mp3 and use a music player to play them, but I don't know where to store the music except Files. I've been looking into SyncThing, but I don't know what it is compatible with. Also, I can't seem to find a site that will download all my songs in my Spotify lists at once (only one at a time, done manually). Anybody know any recommendations?

Syncthing is for syncing files between two devices. This has nothing to do with downloading music files.

I mean, maybe there is an application (like NextCloud or similar) where I can store the music and sync between devices (I don't believe this can be done if just stored in the GOS Files, but I might be wrong). I'm really just looking for the best way to store my music that I can play on several devices like my computer as well.

As far as I know, you can only make your sings offline usable in Spotify, but you cannot download them as mp3 files, accessible for any music player.
Spotify will "download" them, but they are encrypted on your device and only accessible for Spotify itself.

Is there a setting you need to change to allow downloading in Spotify? My phone seems to get stuck in a loading state when I try.

Then yeah, Syncthing will work. Just store music files in the Music folder, then set up the Music folder to sync through Syncthing. Then play the music with whatever mobile/desktop music players you want.

Dumdum sounds good! I presume that the Files app won't automatically detect genres/albums/artists/etc so that the order of the downloaded songs are random? And I can sync these songs to my computer with Syncthing?

Furthermore, is there a way to download all the songs in my Spotify playlists at once instead of just one at a time? This is currently the thing stopping me from switching away completely from Spotify.
