Error through download of Grapheneos

I was able to switch the Pixel 6a into developer mode and connect it to my laptop via USB cable. I manually installed the driver for the Pixel 6a on my windows computer and used the Web Installer to unlock the bootloader and started downloading the images of graphene eos. I got the message that the download was completed but got an error message occurred afterwards, when I try to start the next step "flashing factory images" .
The error message stated that here was a problem wit the download of the factory images
Now the laptop (Device Manager) is not recognizing the Phone as Pixel 6a anymore only as SMS / MMS device. I can't update the Driver.
The phone is working the bootloader is unlocked.
Any idea how to get the phone recognized and the process started again to download and flash the grapheneos system to the phone?

MichaelM The error message stated that here was a problem wit the download of the factory images.

When possible, it is always best to include the exact text of error messages. Also it is useful if you can indicate which version of which OS you are running, also which version of which browser.

Try: unplug it from the computer, boot it into the bootloader, plug it in to the computer.
