tomz did for the other poster
What "other poster"? No one here said it bricked their phone.
language like 'permanently' inaccessible.
Except there's other language also used like "storage contents", which in no way could or should be interpreted as the device being inaccessible. It even says that "GrapheneOS will remain installed". Obviously not bricked. Language used is abundantly clear, as is.
to a veteran like yourself..
- I'm hardly "a veteran", nor would I ever consider myself as such.
- Don't have to be a veteran to understand provided descriptions.
let's not be sooo dismissive so quick.
I'm not (definitely not "sooo" dismissive). Just stating that such a feature would obviously be very silly. If the feature is bricking your phone somehow, then that's unfortunate but ultimately just a bug and not at all the way the feature is designed.
so what's the harm of adding 1 additional sentence?
There is none. I'm not against adding it, either, if the GOS team decides it worth adding. Once again, language is abundantly clear and understandable, and thinking the feature purposefully bricks the phone by design just doesn't make sense. I'm simply expressing that.
