Disable vanadium

If I'm choosing to use a different browser is it okay to disable vanadium?

Does this have any effect on the system or the webview part for other apps (other browser will be set default browser too)?

Will vanadium and webview still update as normal while vanadium is disabled?

Yes, I believe disabling Vanadium doesn't effect the system.

I tried this and had mixed results a year or so ago. The system was basically fine but a few apps that had built in browsers were confused if I recall correctly. It was a year ago or so, but it was easy enough to enable it again.

This would only happen if you disable the vanadium system webview. If you just disable vanadium browser there should not be any issues as long as you have a different browser installed. Just leave the webview enabled.
