I may not be the best use case for you, as I'm at home most of the time and therefore don't have the Fold around me all the time. When I am using it, I'm using PocketCasts for podcast listening (and occasional viewing), Signal messaging and calling, mobile web viewing if not near a computer, and the rare phone call or text message.
When watching content, it's on the large open screen, and it's great. The same goes for web browsing vs the smaller cover screen. I also like the larger keyboard layout while open, as the keys are larger and greatly reduce my typing errors.
I've had it on GrapheneOS since December (never used stock), and it's been a great experience. The experimental aspect ratio setting works well for me to stretch apps to the full screen.
I only wish the Fold, based on the seventh-gen Pixels, was able to output the video signal through USB-C like the 8th-gen ones do, but I don't like the Pixel 9 Pro Fold's dimensions, so I'll be keeping this for the time being.
