Apps complaining about Battery Optimization?

Hello,

I am new to GrapheneOS, so this might be a trivial question, but still I am unsure what to do: I have apps like e.g. ntfy which complain about Battery Optimization being turned on and that I should disable it. If I follow the request I end up in a menu where the background usage can be turned on/off. The switch is turned on, still the apps are complaining. There are no other switches there. Any idea what to do?
