Notifications weird through user profiles

I'm not sure it's a newbie thing or a bug but I have the same app on two user profiles but for some reason I only get notifications from the secondary user profile, not the primary one.
I've checked that notifications are on both in the app and grapheneos, "pause app activity" is off. What more can I do?

In the profile you want notifications from Settings > System > Multiple users > Send notifications to current user

It's already on in my main profile and it's in my main profile I don't get any notification from this specific app, only from the secondary user profile (it's set to the same notification settings as you mentioned, hence I'm getting notifications from the app in the secondary user profile to my primary)

There's an existing issue for this which seems to describe the exact issue you're having. In the issue, someone posted the below solution. Does this fix the problem for you?
