Scott Hi What is the best way to be informed about security patches and general news (releases etc.)? In the Linux world, announce mailing lists are very common. How do you get the information? Thanks
other8026 Scott announcements are posted in so many places, here's a list of the ones I can think of right now: Here inAnnouncements In the alpha/beta testing room, the development room, the releases room across all bridged chat platforms (Discord, Matrix, and Telegram) OS Issue Tracker Twitter Mastodon Bluesky Set up an RSS reader for OS releases https://grapheneos.org/releases.atom Set up RSS reader for app releases, for example, this is for App Store: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/AppStore/releases.atom (you can find GitHub repositories here: https://grapheneos.org/source#standalone-apps) I find that the issue tracker and social media accounts are good places to get most info. I think blogs or newsletters, maybe even mailing lists have been discussed, but I don't know if such a thing is planned for the future.
Scott other8026 Here inAnnouncements How-To subscribe toAnnouncements ? In this forum CMS I didn't find an option to get a mail
Dumdum other8026 Set up an RSS reader for OS releases https://grapheneos.org/releases.atom Alternatively use the new Info app for OS updates. :)
Falcon Scott other8026 In order to receive email notifications for Announcements I found a workaround here: https://www.followthatpage.com
Scott other8026 this is a major issue with this forum software. Otherwise I like it a lot, but this is really something that needs to be fixed. I also have the same problem in other forums with the same CMS.
