Block elements in Vanadium

Which app, extension, etc works with Vanadium for blocking elements from loading to a page? Ublock Origin works on a desktop browser, and Brave (desktop) has its own options, but mobile browsers are annoyingly less supported. Yet the mobiles receive less speed, and tend to have limited or chargeable connections

Vanadium does has a content blocker.

I don't recommend it: Personally I mostly use firefox with uBlock origin. I am very well aware that it is less secure compared to chromium based browsers or vanadium. For my personal thread model its fine as I really dont want to see any adds online and like you I only haev limited data on my phone so not loading adds saves money.

Aeon It does? I can see the pop up and adblocker options, which are naturally turned on, but see no content/element blocker. I want to be able to select an element on the page, and with an option ensure it never loads again.

I personally agree that there are lots of badly designed websites, so I've disabled javascript on my phone and I enable javascript for websites that need it. I've found that that change has made browsing the internet much, much less annoying.

But I am unsure why you're saying this here. But if you're trying to request a feature, I'd suggest a different approach.

It wasn't a feature request, but a request for help or guidance. Such a facility exists on desktop browsers, and I was looking for a suggestion so that I could increase my pleasure in Vanadium.
I am aware of the adblocker, but the initial reply stated a content blocker, thus the confusion. It is not a case of badly designed sites, it is a case of more crap on a page than I see a need for as it is not relevant to me. Static links, first party ads, and other.
But if a question of Vanadium can't be asked on a GOS forum, where do you suggest to ask?

Then I misunderstood you, sorry about that. Of course you can ask questions about Vanadium here.

Okay. Yes, there's the ad blocker, but there's no way to filter out things on Vanadium using html ids, classes, or similar with css. I don't personally use browsers other than Vanadium, so I don't know if another browser would have that kind of feature.

This is my bad. I apologies for the confusion. I meant Ad-blocker, but somehow wrote content blocker. I blame being unconcentrated and English being my 2nd Language.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing but is there a way to stop websites from playing embedded content such as videos etc.

Websites such as CNN.com is the only example I can give. Is there a setting on vanadium that can block this. I really don't want to have to use another app

Manky perhaps a cookie choice on CNN to prevent autoplay

Aeon I think saying "content blocker" is accurate too. I think the confusion is caused by the fact there don't seem to be different words or phrases for the different kinds of content blockers.
