Hi, my work involves areas that are at high risk of constant lawsuits. This also applies to border crossing searches of unlock phone to not miss your flight.
Right now I carry both an iPhone and a GrapheneOS Pixel. All my public facing accounts tied to my government ID are on the iPhone. All my anonymous accounts and anonymous web such as this forum post is on the GrapheneOS. In the event of a lawsuit during discovery phase when the other party and court orders me to hand over my electronic devices and passwords for forensics examination, I simply get rid of the GrapheneOS phone or hide it and no one would be the wiser. But I get tired of carrying both an iPhone and a GrapheneOS pixel phone with me everywhere. It gets really inconvenient especially while being active.
I am trying to get rid of the iPhone and only use GrapheneOS Pixel. I will create a new GrapheneOS profile for all my government connected ID apps: Banking Apps, Uber, Amazon, you get the jist. In the event of a lawsuit or border crossing, I only unlock that profile for forensic examination and claim I created the other profiles a long time ago, haven't used them in years, don't know the passwords to them. Can a forensics examination prove me wrong and completely have this plan blow up in my face?
