vanadium opens new tab by itself

hello,
the title says it; most of the times when opening vanadium after a reboot or after unlocking, the browser opens a new tab. not a big thing but its still kinda annoying (:
any suggestions?

Chromium 147.0.7727.102 explicitly has a setting to supress this.
Settings > New Tab Page > Opening Screen > Last Open Tab.
Hopefully this will be implemented in Vanadium as always opening to a new tab is definitely annoying.

I am also experiencing this issue. Opens a new tab constantly when I just want it to open to the previous tab/state.

Homepage is already disabled for me. Issue persists.
