UWB not working

Hey all

Just working through a few issues as a new user. When I enable UWB in Connection Preferences, the toggle switch is immediately disabled. I couldn't find anyone else recently that said that UWB did not work for them. I'm also having the well-documented issue of not being able to enable RCS chats on Google Messages and I'm wondering if the two issues may be connected. Anyone else having an issue enabling UWB?

I've stumbled upon this issue because of the same experience. Enabling the UWB toggle does not work. After leaving the menu and re-entering it the toggle is off again.

Settings -> Connected Devices -> Connection preferences -> UWB
(The names might differ a bit, my system is German)

Phone: Pixel 9 Pro
GrapheneOS: 2024101200, Android 14

manugraph Do you think your situation matches issue #2712?

If so, it might be best to make sure the problem persists after your device has Android 15. If so, and if you are willing to share a system log file privately with one of the developers, maybe add a comment to the existing issue indicating your willingness.

By the way, I'm curious... are you in a position to indicate which applications you would use with UWB?

I'll try it again with Android 15 and provide feedback here after I got a stable version.

Your curiosity is justified :D
Currently I have no uwb compatible devices as I've got the Pixel just yet. But I'm really looking forward to using this nice technology as soon as I find a real world scenario other than unlocking a car 😊

Just fyi here, after updating to Android 15 the issue persists 🤷‍♂️
