Pixel 6a stock GrapheneOS, proven by remote attestation. (build number 2024071600) The phone has been working as it should for 18 months on various Graphene updated OS's. I use it with the only modifications are dark mode, password, physical sim, WiFi and every sound option turned off.I had no other apps installed until a few days ago, I saw Accrescent and thought I would download it.
I installed Accrescent and the music player, Ri-Play. I initially streamed an album, it all worked. Overnight the phones battery drained from 85% to 20% sat doing nothing. (music App set to off in the background and closed in any case.) My phone can last several days without charge. My battery is fine, cycle count of 72, so its in reasonable condition. Now it cant find the Apps database (via a Graphene warning), I have always had the Apps are up to date silent message, never in 18 months have these two anomalies happened, and these are all within 24 hours of the additional Apps being installed. The phone was factory reset, now remote attestation works, apps work and immediately downloaded updates, battery drain is as I expect it, the phone is set up as I like it and apparently back to normal! (without addition of Accrescent and Ri Play Apps) Unable to say whether this is a coincidence or one or both apps are the reason. I am a Graphene end user, not a developer so my work around, was remove the last changes that broke a working system via factory re-set.
