No 5G Connectivity

Hey Guys, currently I have two phones. My private daily driver is an iPhone 12. My business phone is the Pixel 6 with GrapheneOS. Currently I'm living in Bulgaria and have here contracts with two main carriers. Vivacom and A1.

My Problem now is, that with the Pixel 6 running GrapheneOS I can't access the 5G Network. With my iPhone I have at home two 5G Cells available. The cells are running on Bands n1 and n7. With my iPhone I get near a 1G down and 100MBit UP in both cells.

But on the Pixel with GrapheneOS I don't get any 5G Connectivity. I even tried this setting, where you can select the carrier manually. In the list I get no 5G cells. My first impression was, that the iPhone supports more Bands than the Pixel. But I looked it up. Both Bands, n1 and n7 are supported by the Pixel Phone.

The Contract in the pixel is identical with the contract in my iPhone. So what's wrong? How can I get into 5G Networks?

LL0rd Go to stock and you will see the same. Pixels get access to 5g only in countries where those phones are officially sold. I find this sad, but unfortunately Google are in position to do whatever they please.

5G on the pixel 7 pro is dicey. I get 5 bars 5G UC when going in/out of airplane mode with 500Mbps download. Then it hits 1-2 bars in the same location with 100Mbps download until finally its going in and out of connectivity with the lovely ! on network connection. If I enable/disable airplane mode the process starts all over again.

Luckily I really only care about LTE which is a solid 5 bars. My old iphone had no issues with the 5G network though..

tl;dr I am not surprised.
