Be clear: will Airplane ✈️ mode Stop satellite connection?

I'm threatened with being banned for warning that certain entities can commandeer features like satellite connectivity to track a target's location.

Pixel 9 will have sat capability. I've asked GOS to build a toggle feature that cuts sat cnxn. Now some members are speculating that Airplane mode might actually do that.

So I'm giving GOS a chance to speak clearly into the microphone to the people and confirm Airplane mode in Pix9 will definitely cut sat connection so that weaponized entities cannot switch to using sat cnxn to follow target who already disabled gps and is in airplane mode.

No dodging. Be clear with the people.

GeorgeSoros Let me borrow the Trunks' time machine to buy Pixel 9 phones, come back and distribute them to GOS developers to study your question.

GeorgeSoros have some patience freind. The device hasn't been released so no one knows. The GOS devs are good but they can't develop a feature for something that doesn't exist yet.

They've done well thus far I see no reason to be worrying about something that doesn't exist. If the worst comes to the worst (and your threat model required it) don't buy a P9.

As multiple people have said, as well as myself, the phone isn't out yet. There's no reason to believe airplane mode won't disable that radio while disabling others.
