vanadium update = cant login to some sites

jt is all in title, recent vanadium update made me unable to login to some site. noticed that privacy and site settings changed. now have to use another browser, which is fine. anybody experienced alike?

Edit: Oh yeah, the JIT toggle is a likely solution here. Try that first!

Which sites?
Is the issue with one or more sites?
Do you get an error message? If so, what does it say?
Do you use a password manager? If so, which password manager?
What is your version of Vanadium?
You say that settings changed. Which settings?

I would say the most common reason for a website not working on Vanadium, is because it relies on JavaScript JIT, which is disabled by default on Vanadium for attack surface reduction. You can find the toggle to enable JavaScript JIT for individual websites when you have them open by tapping the tune icon (see link below) on the left hand side of the URL bar, and to the right of the home button. Tune icon > Permissions > enable JavaScript JIT toggle.

Have you tried that for the websites affected?

treequell thank you for respond, the thing is sites in question were working absolutely fine before the update with that JIT toggle in default position(off) - i am sure as i have seen it off.
now it is off just as always was, but some other settings now changed to off(which were on before update) such as Third party sign-in and Auto-verify, both in Site Settings section of Vanadium settings. and the Send "do not track request" now is on, which before was always off(default). Maybe there is more changes, but i noticed only the above mentioned.. i tried to add the sites in question as exceptions yo the Third party sign-in list, no difference. then turned on the auto-verify, same result and still cant login to those sites in Vanadium.

on walmart i see a page saying like: Oops there is an issue please try again later.
on citi i enter credentials, chose the 2fa code delivery way enter it and it simply takes me back to citi.com

none of them specifies any error.

i do the default one in Vanadium.

ehen i was typing my second reply to you, this page crashed, i got white screen with some message i forgot the first half, but latter said: if you see this frequently you can try these suggestions.
providing a link to grapheneos.com browser section that i went through briefly and havent seen any suggestions applicable to my issue.

Onlyfun also i think your version does not fit this case because the sites are working just fine until i try to login. i can browse any page on site even start the help support chat. which advises me to call them in the end. so i thought i might find a solution faster asking here than calling them.

i clearly see that my settings have changed without my intent with the update. well maybe i'm wrong saying there was no intent of mine, since it was me who conformed the updates to be performed, but i have not moved the switches in settings. i think it would be useful to reset vanadium settings to default(even though they should be on default as i have not changed them) and see what/if will change from current setup.
is there a way to do it? aside from erasing the app's storage as then i would loose the credentials in it. i tried the reset app preferences in Settings => Apps => See all apps, none of current Vanadium's setting changed. does it mean there at their default or the app preferences reset has no effect on the in-app settings? i kind of suspect latter is the case.

For anyone who stumbles across this like I did:
I had to enable third-party cookies and JavaScript JIT via the tune icon (left of the URL) to get the Citi site to allow me to login for the first time on Vanadium.
Once you are logged in, you will have to enable the JavaScript JIT on the online.citi.com URL and I removed the third-party cookies option after logging out. I have not had issues logging in since.
