Green dot at the corner of the screen automatically appearing

Hi guys, need a bit of advice here.
Earlier today I noticed the green dot on the right corner of the screen automatically appearing, when my camera, microphone was already blocked and no apps were using it.

I usually have my location on but it wasn't the location that was doing that because with the location appears for like 2 seconds then disappears but the green dot was just appearing there for no reason.

I rebooted the device, the dot was gone and the issue was fixed.

Has anyone gone through this as well recently?
Some advice and opinions would be great 😊.

Ddpmvsufc When this occurs, you can swipe down the notification menu, then tap on the green dot to see which app is using your location.

To view historical location access, go to Settings > Privacy > Privacy dashboard > Location

When the green dot shows, you can pull down the status bar and you will be able to see which app is polling the location.

Yeah I looked at the history for the location and it was just google around that time that was automatically using it.

But the issue was that the green dot didn't disappear it just appeared and just stayed there ...

Was gone after I rebooted.

In the past I've had issues with some of my devices getting hacked and infiltrated so I'm just naturally paranoid when it comes to these things.

Will definitely reach out if this issue occurs again.

Could you be more specific? Which Google app or service does the Privacy dashboard show accessed the location permission?

Just the Google app, maps, the app deputy for work purposes, and a banking app I use. I use a few of Google's services but google wasn't the reason I started using Graphene os, I started using it due to cyber security issues I was dealing with.

But I'm pretty sure my my device is fine, but some clarity insights is always good to know from other people.

I used another pixel device to scan the auditor QR code but it kept taking me to the Google search engine, pretty sure I didn't do it the right way haha

Are you rerouting location requests via the OS, or routing them via Google Play Services?

Yeah it's the Graphene os system that has full access to the location, nothing else. Only the apps I allow that can use the location use it
