Hello
https://www.theregister.com/2024/07/12/chromium_api_system_information/. One of many articles.
We use Chromium for Vanadium, do we protect ourselves from this?
Simply speaking if we think about privacy violation and some examples why its bad, this can be used for things such as fingerprinting. Or for example if they know you have powerful device, they can increase load for testing new content on you specifically. Or you know if there is a security vulnerability in the wild associated with particular hardware component, this can be exposed since you know which component to target.
Thoughts on this?
