LTE data on non owner?

Is it not possible to use lte data on a non owner account? It just says "mobile data won't auto connect". Tapping that message does nothing and I don't see anything related in settings on owner or user. I was hoping to have empty owner and only use a user account but that is a big hurdle if we cannot use lte data on users besides owner. Thanks

It seems I was encountering some kind of bug because it works now but not the same way as before. Before when i only had owner the both lte data and wifi were blue highlighted and now it swaps from one to the other. Same with user account. It now lets me connect to LTE data there is a button when before there was nothing. I feel like these are bugs I'm encountering. Maybe they are pixel 7 only bugs?

From what I've seen, only the owner profile has a toggle that can turn autoconnect on and off. So when I'm in my non-owner profile and data isn't connecting, I switch to the owner profile, tap the toggle, switch back to the non-owner profile, and then data works.

Not sure if this is intended behavior. It also seems random what this toggle will be switched to after a reboot.

this happens to me too sometimes. Every time I have to go back to Owner and enable mobile data as you've done. Not sure why it happens, but after a while it happens less frequently in my experience. Now, it happens to me maybe once every two weeks, usually after using Airplane mode.
