Reflashing Graphene OS after a deliberate erase.

Hey there good people! I erased google pixel 6a w/ Graphene OS, but now am prompted for a password and, the old password I had been using (the screen lock password) is not allowing access to the phone. Please help. I intend to freshly flash the device with Graphene OS but... I seem to be "locked out" as described. thank you all community members for your time.

grapheneA5 You can factory reset to a fresh GrapheneOS install from the recovery menu.

After doing so it'll return you to a fresh GrapheneOS install, where you can set up your phone again from scratch.

how did you "erase" your Pixel 6a?

malatoi I used the option within the OS to erase the phone and its contents. Since then, when I power on the pixel 6a, i am prompted for a password which I guessed would be the original screen lock password but, it's not giving access. Should I re-flash via graphene OS website with USB tethering as I originally did when setting the device up?

NB: reason for erasure at the time was that I noticed some strange activity. Without going into the specifics, it was a "scare". Now successfully in a situation with fresh Graphene OS install
