I've recently boughy a wireless charging device, which then gave me an idea: I currently have my USB-C port on "charging only" almost 24/7 (except for the rare times when I actually need to use it for somethint else). If I'd use wireless charging only, I'd be able to instead turn the USB-C port off completely. Now I need your help to evaluate/judge wether that would be worth it.
How significant would the attack surface reduction be from charging wireless only and disabling USB-C compared to having it on "charging only"? On the other hand, are there drawbacks or risks involved in wireless charging?
Thanks!
