bigfish29 I noticed that my phone can connect to wifi in BFU Mode. Does that mean that wifi passwords are stored unencrypted and could they be extracted even in BFU mode?
de0u bigfish29 I am not an expert on this, but I suspect Wi-Fi credentials are stored in "device encrypted storage": https://developer.android.com/privacy-and-security/direct-boot#access Implantations may differ, but I suspect that on a Pixel running GrapheneOS device encrypted storage is accessible only when a correctly signed kernel is running.
