"this phone isn't compatible with this app"

I get the error "this phone isn't compatible with this app" when trying to install my insurance companys app ("TK-App") on my Pixel 8a through sandboxed Play Store. If I download the same app through Aurora Store, the app installs, but gives an error when opening "An unexpected error occurred [...]". That is the first time I can't get an app to run at all.
Anything I can do here?

That was my troubleshooting idea, the Aurora Store. Works for Blink Charging.

If it's your company couldn't you let them know that they need to allow their app to be installed on GOS?
