Hi,

I am using "Siedle App" which is kind of a doorbell app. Sadly it requires Google Play Services. Because I do not want to have those in my main user profile, I created a different user profile, installed sandboxed Google Play Services and after that the "Siedle App".

After allowing notifications for the "Google Play Services" app, the "Siedle App" is actually working as expected. When the doorbell is pressed, the app is opening automatically.

But this is only working, when that additional user profile is active. I enabled "Allow running in background" for that profile. But when I am switching from the additional to the main profile, there is no notification when the doorbell is pressed (the main profile is active at that time).

Isn't that possible or is there anything more to configure to make it work?

Best regards,

While in the "Siedle App" profile, go to the Multiple Users screen and turn on Send notifications to current user. Using the main profile (or any other profile) will make it the "current user" that notifications will be sent to.

Ah okay, thank you for that information.
It actually works this way. But it is way too slow and impractical.

I guess it would be faster, if that app would run in the owner profile in a Shelter workspace instead.

Is it possible to install "Google Play Services" app only in a Shelter workspace? I guess I will have to install it in the main (private) workspace, clone it to the other workspace and uninstall it from the private workspace after that, right?

Best regards,
