Hello,
in April, Bancoposta, one of the most popular Italian banking apps, made granting usage data access permission mandatory in order to use the app.
According to several sources, it's because it uses TrustDefender by ThreatMetrix, and the information collected is used to create an accurate device fingerprint in order to prevent frauds.
Naturally, several privacy conscious users are uncomfortable with that, so the Italian privacy authority is dealing with that.
Meanwhile, I would like to know what data would be collected if I installed that Bancoposta app in a GrapheneOS separate user profile, not active in background, with sandboxed Google Play installed in the same profile and without any other app in the same profile. Thank you.
