This question has been in the back of my mind for quite a long time now. I couldn't exactly find answers using search engines ( maybe because of censorship? ) so I want to ask here.
Let's imagine that the police demand your phone to perform an investigation. The reason doesn't matter in this case, because it's made up, and they have all their paperwork ready. You give your phone to them. What happens next?
My question here is HOW do they extract data? I'm pretty sure they don't ask for the phone's password, so that can't be it (even if they did though you have the user profiles backing you up). Do they use something else? I'm sure that the data is encrypted before first boot, so can that protect you? Or can using different user profiles protect you? Can USB-C port and pogo pins settings protect you if the former two fail? Or can they bypass all restrictions? If so, how do they do it? Again, I couldn't really find answers on google, reddit and duckduckgo so I'm sorry for asking here. My main question is tho, can GrapheneOS and other privacy measurements protect you or is it all fodder?
But if someone answers all of the other questions that will be a bonus :D . Again, thank you for your understanding.
