Hi,

I am using GrapheneOS on my current device and have been using CalyxOS before.

One really cool and useful feature of CalyxOS is that it displays the release notes/changes since the last update after an update was applied to a device (the changes are even already visible while the update is downloaded/applied). The changelog can at any time be displayed with Settings | System | Updates | Change log.

This was really handy. In GrapheneOS I don't see any information about the changes of an update, I have to open a browser and have to surf to https://grapheneos.org/releases#changelog to find the actual changes.

What do you think about displaying the changes directly on the phone?

Best regards,
cybgrap

You can install an RSS reader app (e.g. Feeder) and add https://grapheneos.org/releases.atom to the app.

Edit: This has also been requested already, and I'm curious what the reason for not implementing it is.

You can get this information with the recent app Info :
Apps > Info > install > open the Info app > Release Notes

You can now install the new Info app in GrapheneOS Apps where you can find the release notes.

Ah, great to know! I didn't know that app, that is very comfortable, thanks!
