Stuck on Flashing factory images

Hi,
I was trying to install graphene on my pixel 8, and followed the guide for the webUSB install method. Everything was going smoothly till I got to "Flashing factory images", as it would stay stuck on the fastboodID menu when trying to restart the device. I found out later I forgot to set up a driver (I'm on windows 10, using brave) which is what prob caused it to fail at this step. Luckily I'm still able to go back to fastboot mode. I tried installing a driver afterward but I couldn't since it's not being detected as a mobile device when on fastboot mode.
Can I still salvage this, or should I (if possible) reinstall android and start over from scratch?

I believe it should be detected as something else. Try entering fastboot before the device is plugged in.

When I plug it in during fast boot mode, I see it listed in my computer under "universal serial bus devices"
When I tried to redo the steps after installing a driver, it still gave the same error of being stuck on "restarting" on flashbootID :/

Alright so I decided to try it again, and once it got stuck again trying to restart during flashing, I looked through the device manager on my PC and was able to find my phone. Once I was able to assign the driver to that, then the flashing process proceeded like normal, and I have graphene installed/working. Thanks!
