Any way to get Screen Balance Accessibility service working?

I want to adjust the screen white balance on my 6a with this screen balance app. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.uk.quickdoc.screenbalance&hl=de&gl=US)

But when starting the app it says "To apply color correction, you will need to eable Screen Balance Accessibility service". When I tap the "Enable Service" button below, I will come to another screen, it then says "Due to security reasons this setting currently is not available".

Any ideas?

Have you permitted the app to use accessibility services? I haven't done it but I read you do it like this, which I copied and pasted here:

Go to app info.
Tap on 3 dots.
Choose "allow restricted settings".
You'll asked for you lock code.

@unwat thank you! I can´t access the 3-dots-menu in the app because the warning (turn on accessibilkity service) is shown before as overlay. In Accessibility Settings the app has an own entry in the apps list. When I tap here then the security warning (see initial post) will appear.

Strange. I got it to work on a temporary profile I just set up. I just installed the app and granted it access here:

Settings > Accessibility > Screen Balance Service > Use Screen Balance Service (set to on)

I even messed with contrast and the settings were applied to everything outside of the app.

How did you install the app? I've read Android 13 blocks sideloaded apps from using accessibility services, but apparently apps from Google Play should be allowed? Maybe you can try uninstalling the app then installing it again from Google Play.
