Extensions on Vanadium?

Does GOS plan to add extension support to Vanadium? Having the ability to extend the functionality of browsers would be fantastic!

One use case: uBlock origin.

Extension support is not planned. It's not standard on Android, and it can reduce security. The right approach to implementing features is within the browser itself, rather than with extensions.

In case you're not aware, Vanadium does provide adblocking by default using the built-in filtering engine of Chromium. It currently uses EasyList and EasyPrivacy, and we'll soon provide the ability to have language-specific filters based on the languages set within the browser itself.

Can you say how often these lists will be updated?
regularly in operation or with app update?

AlphaElwedritsch This is not a GOS project and we have no way of knowing how often the block lists are updated.

I didn't want to know how often the filter lists are updated, I know that.
I wanted to know how often the lists themselves are updated in Vanadium.

If a change is made concerning Easylist and Easyprivacy, it will be noted.

I can't give a definitive answer, but extrapolating by the number of releases since initial release of the config app it's about every 5 days. Last update was three days ago.
